Travel to Africa represents the exploration of humanity's roots, and therefore also of art. Visits to museums and ateliers by African artists fed and influenced Mario's painting and chromaticism, generating compositions that have to do with a primordial behavior of man, of forgotten spontaneity, even if inherited from nature.
